NEIEP’s College Transfer Options

Lift Your Education Higher with NEIEP’s College Transfer Options

NEIEP provides world-class education and training to Elevator Constructors, but completing the apprenticeship program may only be the first step in your educational journey. NEIEP’s classroom training has been recognized by many colleges and universities around the country for its college-level education, and many NEIEP graduates choose to continue their education by pursuing a college degree. A college degree may help you to advance your career, hone your skills, or get an edge on the competition.

NEIEP currently has partnerships with six colleges and universities to provide transfer credit for the work you did as a student in the NEIEP Apprenticeship Training program. Additionally, the program is a member of the Registered Apprenticeship College Consortium, which offers even more choices for finding a college experience that fits your needs. By taking advantage of these agreements, you can receive college credit for your course work and your on-the-job learning hours.

These partnerships offer a variety of bachelor’s and associate degrees in engineering, construction, mechanics, project management, and general studies. All these schools offer degrees that can be completed online, so you can choose the program that’s right for you no matter where you live. Many also offer transfer credit or scholarships to those with military experience.
